Meeting or Small Function Venue Option

Miller House has always been able to host parties for ‘in house’ guests but will now extend this option to people or organisations wanting to hold small functions or meetings in this un pressured and attractive environment.

The Kaipo Suite dining room has seating for 8 to 10 people at either a rectangular table (8 person max), or, less formally, two tables, (6 and 4 seats). Please see image of dinner/lunch for 10 people (adjustment, if needed, for social distancing in alert Level 2*).

Hire of the space includes use of the entire 60sq m Kaipo suite: additional armchairs can be added to the larger main room. All rooms have expansive views of the garden, and there are two doors on to the verandas leading to the garden beyond.

Ultrafast fibre broadband is included.

In fine weather guests can make full and exclusive use of the garden, paddocks and adjoining 1.5ha of private native bush.

Half or full day hire is available as a single booking, or in conjunction with a luxury Bed and Breakfast option.

Miller House only accepts single party bookings, which ensures total privacy and customised service exclusively for your guests and the event.

‘Coffee and cake style’ catering for half or full day events, private lunches or dinner parties; catering is available by prior arrangement. Alternatively, in warm weather event organisers can barbeque in the garden.

*Small parties, and Miller House operations in general, are staffed alone by the host/owner, Hilary Smythe. Only in the case of full day event hire would any additional people be on site.
